Dr. Johnny Williams was born December 18, 1946, in Lewisburg, TN to the late James Alvin and Essie Endsley Williams. Johnny departed this earthly life November 28, 2025, at Tristar Stonecrest Medical Center in Smyrna, TN.
Johnny was member of St. Matthew A.M.E. Church where he worked and had served as Sunday School Superintendent and Trustee.
Johnny was a person that never met a stranger, he loved to talk and left a lasting impression on those he met. During his career he lived in 7 states and people here and there described him as a sweet person, a kind person, a good man, good neighbor, great friend, and someone willing to share his knowledge and resources. Johnny was a people person with a positive "Can Do " attitude. During his career he developed an interest and love for helping and advising students and young people. He did all he could possibly do to help them succeed. He said they taught their students a saying at the Technology Center that would get them through just about anything. After his cancer diagnosis every person he came in contact with at doctor's office, infusion center, hospitals, etc. knew him by what he told his students at school. That saying was "Attitude, Attitude, Attitude."
Johnny was united in Holy Matrimony to Coralee Henry June 23, 1968. To this union their daughter Kimberly was born.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his grandparents Clarence and Geneva Williams, Douglas and Della Endsley and two brothers James A. Williams Jr. and Leroy Williams.
Left to cherish his memories are his wife of 57 years Coralee Williams of Smyrna, TN, a daughter Kimberly Williams Randolph, Son-in-law Dr. Brion V. Randolph, grandson William D. Randolph and granddaughter Lauren M. Randolph of Germantown, TN. Brothers: Robert Williams (Carol) Paul Williams, Alfred Williams, Sisters: Barbara Johnson (Rev. Kenneth) Deborah Johnson (Rev. Herbert) of Murfreesboro, TN., Linda Williams of Lewisburg, TN.
